ABOUT

The Yale Young Global Scholars Program (YYGS) is a summer academic enrichment and leadership program that brings together students from around the world for two-week sessions on Yale’s campus in New Haven. Additionally, YYGS-Beijing: Asia in the 21st Century will be administered by Yale Center Beijing and takes place in Beijing, China.

NEW HUMANITIES SESSIONS
We’re thrilled to be expanding to nine sessions this year, featuring two inaugural humanities sessions: Creative Arts & Media and Literature, Philosophy, & Culture. We’re also offering an additional session of Politics, Law, & Economics due to popular demand. View all our sessions, including STEM opportunities, on our website: https://globalscholars.yale.edu/sessions-dates.

FINANCIAL AID
YYGS encourages students with demonstrated need to apply for our generous financial aid opportunities. In 2018, YYGS distributed over $2.3M in need-based financial aid, and over 10% of matriculated students received full tuition waivers.

ELIGIBILITY
Current high school sophomores and juniors are eligible to apply online today. The application deadline is February 6, 2019, and more information is available here: https://globalscholars.yale.edu.
