Week 6 Happenings… These week has been so amazing and their not done yet!!!

Elementary:
Field Day was yesterday. Scholars had an afternoon filled with sunny activities and water sports (check out the video at the top of this message). Classes have been perfecting their speeches, solos, and dances. Classrooms are expanding their final projects while scholars wrap up their summer objectives and finalize strategies. We’re just as excited as you are to see the final result come Friday!

Middle School:
Sixth grade held two of their three forums this week about inclusive and sustainable cities and included insightful Q&A sessions with local experts in the field.

Seventh grade has been busy issuing subpoenas, interviewing persons of interest, myself included, and preparing for the biggest trial of the summer. Rumor has it that this case will be solved

The eighth grade did such a phenomenal job presenting to our team of five guest sharks today! Some students walked away with the loans they wanted to procure or the investments they pitched!  Yes, real cash investments!  There so many amazing presentations, we did not finish. Today is the annual 8th Grade Networking Event. Check out photos on social media.

Last chances to get involved:
Because 8th grade really puts such authentic effort into their work, they all deserved the opportunity to make a pitch. So we will have Shark Tank Part 2 Thursday morning, at 10 AM. If you can recommend someone or if you are willing yourself, please email me ASAP! Please plan to enjoy the Student Marketplace this Friday as part of our culminating activities.  Students will be selling a variety of products,  so bring a twenty (or two).

Seventh-grade parents are called to court! You have your invites for court; it convenes at 12:30 PM. Please refer to the Bloomz Ody-7 teachers’ post.
